Today, March 9, 2021 will go down Ghana's historical annals as one of the memorable days marked by two important events. Earlier today, the President delivered his first address on the state of the nation for his second term in office. During the address, he announced his meeting with the Black Satellites at the Jubilee House.
It was all joy as the Black Satellites finally stormed the Jubilee House to present the cup to President Akuffo-Addo. The team management together with technical team and the players all landed at the Presidency with joyous singing and chanting.
The President speaking at the meeting, congratulated the team on their splendid victory. Winning the cup on the eve of the country's 64th independence celebration, the President expresed his appreciation and described it as a precious gift for the nation.
Speaking further, he assured the team of his unrelenting commitment to supporting sporting activities in the country.
