Firebrand journalist and presenter with Despite Media, has vowed not to go anywhere near the 2024 election. She explained to Samson Lardy Anyenini on the Newsfile on Joy News that she will not dare report any results during the pre or post-election period. She made that statement based on the two attacks she witnessed under the Nana Addo-led administration.
According to her, had she not fled outside after the 2020 election for a month, she would have been attacked. She further argued that the 60th position in which Ghana scored in the Media Freedom ranking should have been worse. This was in view of the attacks she incurred despite her gender as a woman.
"I can no longer continue and I am not the only one. Many of our colleagues have exited the industry and moved into Public relations and corporate communication because they believe it is safer. Over there, there is no attack emotionally and physically", she explained.
