One of the most basic misconceptions that a lot of people have regarding Adam and Eve is that God created Adam and Eve to marry each other. But this is far from the truth. God did not ask Adam to marry Eve.
What God did was to present or display Eve to Adam. When God displayed Eve to Adam, Adam said in Genesis 2:23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man."
So Adam named her womb man, lived with her, developed that relationship, got to know her, and named her Eve.
Today people approached women in the church and tell them God has asked them to marry them. This has led to so many problems in marriages to the extent that even if they do agree and get married and later realized the relationship is not good, they are unwilling to leave or break that relationship
Granted people have gifts, different types of gifts where they could see beyond the physical But the Bible clearly shows that God does not force the human will and God will not go contrary to his word. There are principles in the Bible that help and aids in the selection of partners for marriages or relationships. If people could just take their time to study and apply these principles a lot of the problems people face in their relationships could be avoided
The best way to be successful in anything in this life is to use and follow Bible principles even if you do not agree with them. Sometimes you will find a lot of people agreeing on something and because of that, you will also assume because a lot of people agree on it it’s the right thing. But the voice of the people is not the voice of God. This is why democracy can be very dangerous sometimes because the moment you get the majority to accept the wrong thing, everyone thinks it’s the right thing.
Marriage is a very serious thing, it’s a matter of life and death, so choose wisely and choose well so that you do not end up marrying the grave with your lifeless body
