The Youth patron of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante and wife, were at this August Joshua Generation dubbed the Apostolic 'Metadidomi' on Sunday the 7th of August, 2022 at the Central Tabernacle, Koforidua. This month's activity organised by the Youth Executives of the Koforidua Area promised to impart the youth of the Area and the church at large.
A session of the program saw various district youth leaders testify about the Minister and some successes chopped over his four (4) years tenure as an Area Head within the Koforidua Area of the Church of Pentecost. Among these accounts were his patience, sound theology, giving to support the work of God and other similar works.
The Apostle took the opportunity to speak to the youth on few aspect of his upbringing and some specific influences on his life, especially in the area of giving to support others. He also recalled taking the reading of scriptures serious as a young man. Apostle and wife further adviced the youth that it was their time to do the Lord's work, to balance Spirituality with academics and to make full use of God's gift.
The Minister and wife had sessions to pray and impart the young men and women to be equipped for service. He charged them that, growing up as a young man, he knew from scriptures that the world would pass away and so there was no need to love the world than the creator. He told the youth to always have intimacy with God and have a personal devotional life. He continued that they should invest in buying and reading christian literatures as well as studying hard in all endeavors. Apostle Asante also challenged the youth to thoroughly read through the Bible for more insight to advance their lives.
