Video Of Opambour Allegedly Forcing A Member To Fall During Deliverance Pops Up: Is This Necessary?

A lot of things have been happening in churches these days. Revivals, prayers and deliverance, prophecies and several other activities. When it gets to these activities, many things go on.

Many pastors have faced criticisms following how they sometimes allegedly force their members to fall during deliverance services. During deliverance services in church, people get their healings, breakthrough, freedom from spiritual bondage, among several others.

The least falling during deliverance services comes with a lot of spiritual meanings. Because many people have been made to believe this perception, some pastors also take advantage of that and forcefully push their members to fall during such times. Some smart church members also make sure to stand in a manner in which they wouldn't fall should they be forcefully pushed to fall down during deliverance. When it happens like that, some pastors tend to tell the congregation that such people in the church are being possessed which is not always the case.

The case in today's article is a bit similar to what has been going on in our churches these days. A viral video circulating on social media shows how Rev. Opambour was forcefully pushing a member to fall during a deliverance service in his church.

In the video, the founder and leader of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwa-Yiadom popularly known as Opambour was trying to force his member to fall during deliverance. The man, who had made up his mind to face the man of God, stood firm and looked straight into his eyes without making any attempt to fall down.

He had a straight face which depicted his level of determination and seriousness. This attitude of Opambour's church member has caused a lot of reactions from people. A lot of people seem to be in support of what the man did.

Is the falling of church members during deliverance services really necessary? Should they be forced to fall or they should be led by the holy spirit?
