The leader and founder of the lighthouse chapel, Bishop Dag Heward Mills has finally render an apology to the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu. This was as a result of a viral leak tape what was circulating on social media.
In the viral tape, Dag Heward Mills was heard criticizing the Asantehene and also comparing him to other chiefs.
According to a press release, the leader of the lighthouse chapel has said that it was a sermon he preached for nearly two decades ago. He said it was taken out context by people who have previously declared their intentions to bring harm to the organization. However, he added he has deeply regretted the fact that a statement he made almost two decades ago has offended his royal majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu.
"I apologise unreservedly to his royal majesty Otumfour Nana Osei Tutu for any disrespect, insult or harm caused himor his royal court. Please accept my profound apologies for any statement I made". He said.
He added that, the accomplishment of Otumfour Osei Tutu are evidence and manifest for everyone to see and appreciate his hard work and sacrifice for development of our dear nation.
