When I was studying biochemistry at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, I met Christ and became friends with him after seeing how thoroughly he studied the subject. However, I was raised by parents who did not believe in a Messiah who died for our sins or a God who created the cosmos when I was a child.
I've been trying to persuade them to let Christ have his way in their lives so that God's light can shine brightly through them. I'm discouraged today; should I keep going to church now that I've read about this in the Bible? Should I try to convert my parents to Christianity if I don't have as much faith as I used to? This is a question I'd like to look into with the help of the audience.
I read my Bible first thing in the morning after getting out of bed, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me as to where I should stop for the day.
In 1 Corinthians 14:34 and 35, there are two verses that say
Women should not be found in the pulpit in churches, nor should they conduct meetings, according to what I've read in the scriptures; nevertheless, the scriptures aren't strictly observed these days. Are we sinning against God every day when we disobey God's commandments in the Bible?
We see women speaking in churches these days, so females should refrain from doing so. I'm not sure what I should do; should I stop going to church because it reminds me of sin? Do you enjoy it?
