NDC Running Mate Prof Naana Jane Opoku Donates To Muslims In Central Region

The 2020 NDC’s Running Mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang yesterday donated some quantities of provisions to support our Muslim brethren in the Central Region through the Central Regional Chief Imam- Shiek Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed Kamagateh. 

She extended warm felicitations to them from H.E. John Mahama for their supportive and instrumental roles in contributing to the appreciable votes for him and our MP. He requested prayers for H.E. John Mahama, MP’s, and Ghanaians during this holy period of prayers and fasting (Ramadan) and indicated that the NDC is not discriminatory as God(Allah) himself is not discriminatory.

The Sariki Zongo - Mamudu Ibrahim Mazawajey commended the NDC for their kind gestures and show of love to Muslims. In a joyous mood, he remarked that the NDC at all times thinks about the welfare and wellbeing of the people more than any political party in Ghana. He also commended the MP for Cape South for his enormous support of the Muslim community and his willingness to assist individuals citing himself as a beneficiary.

Speaking about Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, he pointed out that, apart from the fact that she was his lecturer, she has been a mother to all and commended her humility and peaceful nature. He was much appreciative of the kind gesture. 

The Regional Chief Imam- Shiek Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed Kamagateh on his part commended the leadership of the NDC for the handsome donation. He further prayed that the wishes of the NDC and their leadership be fulfilled. he also prayed for unity and cohesive collaboration among the rank and file of the NDC. He said he has confidence that Allah shall grant the prayers of NDC come 2024. He again prayed for strength, good health, and courage for JDM and leadership to stand the hard times.
