Tragedy has struck the family of a popular pastor of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Nigeria after reports emerged that one of his son is dead.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye's son Pastor Dare Adeboye was said to have died in his sleep on Wednesday night in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. As the 42 years old is said to be based there with his family.
The deceased who was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, was said to have preached the gospel the previous day before the unfortunate incident happened.
His wife, Temiloluwa, was said to have raised the alarm after she noticed her husband was not responding to life. She also noted that he was hail and hearty before going to bed as he never complained of any pain.
RCCG's Head of Media and Public Relations, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, has confirmed the sad news today.
Though he said he did not have the full details of the incidence however he promise that a statement would be we issued subsequently.
Condolences have been pouring for the family of Adeboye as rest in peace has been trending on twitter.
