Disrespecting leadership is an indirecting insult against God

I am not here to talk about politics or anything concerning politics, but just to add my voice to the masses who are of the same interest to stop those people from insulting the leaders of our country as if they are age mates.

Ghanaians are currently appreciating the creativity of some individuals who speak their minds through arts and other mediums, we applaud them for being creative. But the creativity of insult must be avoided. It is not an easy thing to be a leader. TV3 cartoonist Tilapia has launched a 3D image that tends to pose a disrespect to the leaders of our beloved country Ghana. I have seen a lot of Ghanaians showing their displeasure calling it abusive and dishonest to the officials. Ghana is the few countries that has demonstrated democracy at its highest level since its insertion but hiding behind democracy to spew an indirect insult is awful. The hardship facing Ghana is global so we should be mindful of how we sometimes descend on our leaders to steer the Ghanaian economy.

There's a Scripture in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves."

These Bible verses simply mean that " Disrespecting leadership is an indirect insult against God. Because no one assumes power or the seat of leadership without God's involvement." Let us, therefore, be aware of this so that we don't fall into the calamity of God's wrath. Thank you so much for your audience.
