The resident Pastor for Odorkor PIWC of the Church of Pentecost, Ps. Jonathan Kofie whose sudden death occured on 20th June, 2020 was laid to rest today. The burial service took place at the Maranatha University College, opposite the Pentecost University in Sowutuom, Accra.
The late Pastor doubled as the dean of students for the Pentecost University. His demise occured as a result of a motor accident, at age 43. The late Pastor was a man loved by all especially the youth in wherever district he served as a Pastor. He was known to be a talented footballer and a great teacher of the word of God.
Before he became the resident pastor in Odorkor, Pastor Jonathan Kofie served as a pastor in the Potsin District, Winneba District, PIWC-Sakumono, and Achimota District. He was called into full time ministry in the year 2006. In attendance at the funeral was the chairman and executives of the church of Pentecost, Fellow Ministers in the Church, lecturers and students of the Pentecost University. He left behind a wife and five children. May his soul rest in peace.
