Shugatiti, a Ghanaian socialite and actress, has spoken out about why she hasn't attended church in seven years, and she has a point.
She cites a number of reasons for her departure from the church, including favoritism and demand for sex from pastors and instrumentalists.
She revealed this in an interview with David Mawuli of Pulse Ghana on Thursday, April 22.
“I haven't been to church in a long time. “I haven't been to church in at least seven years,” she told David Mawuli.
“If you want a place where they practice favoritism and where there are plenty of sins, go to the church,” she said. When you go to church, everybody wants to sleep with you: the instrumentalist, the priest, and everyone else.”
Apart from that, nobody wants to speak to you if you don't offer. The king is the largest donor to any fund they raise. That's why I don't like going to church because of stuff like that,” she said.
Shugatiti revealed that, despite not attending church, her relationship with the Almighty God remains unchanged, and that she fasts and prays when she needs anything.
“Now, whenever I need something, all I have to do is fast and pray to God, and I get it,” she said.
Is her reason not to go to church good?
