According to Bishop Obinim, the God and Jesus in the Bible are quite different from the one that he knows.
Talking from experience, the popular man of God said, "if I compare the God that sent Jonah to the God that I know, then I will say it's true they are the same. But if I compare it to some other quotations in the bible, then I would say there's a difference".
Bishop Obinim cautioned his church members no to rely on the Bible too much but rather they should rely on the spirit of God for understanding.
"No one was around when the holy spirit took Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by satan so who wrote that?", Obinim asked.
"I believe in the Bible but I don't work with all the content. Do not rely on it too much but let the spirit of God give you understanding before you do anything".
Is Bishop Obinim now questioning the authenticity of the Bible? Comment below.
