O. B Amponsah apologizes to the church of Pentecost after he made a bad joke about it.

Today, July 21, 2021 the renowned Ghanaian comedian and a medical doctor, O. B Amponsah, has rendered an apology to the church of Pentecost after he made a bad joke about the church's decision to build prisons in Ghana.

Incipiently, O. B Amponsah shared a Facebook post which was authored by his colleague comedian in the entertainment industry of Ghana, Teacher Kojo, regarding poor condition of services teachers and pupil have to endure in order to achieve successful educational activities at Kwabena Nketaa Primary School in the Bia East District.

OB Amponsah responded to the post by stating that

“Don't worry, the Pentecost church has built nice prisons for the school dropouts who become criminals later”

However, some netizens chastised him for making “myopic” argument concerning the issue. According to them, OB Amponsah should have known better to distinguish between state responsibilities and institutional benevolent.

Nonetheless, O. B Amponsah has eaten a humble pie by apologizing to the church of Pentecost and other people who got hurt via his initial assertion about the issue.

He wrote that

“Sorry to the people I offended this morning with my Pentecost post.

Tomorrow, I will post more though. The church has no business building prisons”.
