Owusu Bempah Cannot Be Classified As A Revered Man Of God; He's A Rascal-Bernard Monrnah Goes Hard

The former Chairman of the People's National Congress (PNC) has reiterated that Prophet Owusu Bempah of Glorious Word Power Ministry is not a "man of God" but instead, a rascal.

He made this assertion on UTV's "Adekye Nsroma" today, September 13, 2021 during a panel discussion on a variety of issues making waves in the media space.

Commenting on the matter, he expressed his shock on why a so-called "man of God" with the history of indiscipline would be seen by some people as revered. He further reiterated that Prophet Owusu Bempah does not qualify to be seen as a revered person because he has proven to be a "rascal" over the years. Mr Bernard also mentioned that Prophet Owusu Bempah only carries the title but he has been acting in a manner that does not suit that title.

" Owusu Bempah is not revered in any way. When you look at reverence in it's real sense, you don't look for rascals and describe them as revered. This is not the first instance of his misbehavior as a Church leader. On several occasions he has made distasteful utterances and issued threats that leaves much to be desired and he does not deserve to be regarded as "revered". He is not revered at all but only carries the title of so-called "man of God". I am very disappointed that people regard him as such".

Bernard Mornah also reiterated that nobody was above the laws of Ghana. He blamed the actions of Prophet Owusu Bempah on the political class who have always allowed some "men of God" to misbehave and go freely. He also lambasted the Prophet for attempting to resist arrest; a move which got some police personnel on the scene wounded. He called the Ghana police service to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that the law takes its course.
