In All Trials Thank God; Acid Burn Survivor Celebrates 16 Years Anniversary, Ghanaians React

The Holy Bible said in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 that “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus". The issue of acid burn in this country and across the world is very disturbing. Some of these people got attacked by their love partners who thought that their woman is cheating on them, others also experience this as a result of mistaken identity like what happened to Memuna Malik, the Ghanaian who travelled to Saudi Arabia for greener pastures.

It is mostly women who suffer these attacks. Looking at the picture, a beautiful and curvaceous woman has been disfigured by acid. The report did not include her name but checking the inscription on her Lacoste, it reads "16 Years Anniversary, Acid Burn Survivor".

Meaning, it has been sixteen years since this lady suffers the acid attack. Checking her facial expression, it seems the lady has overcome the stigmatization and all forms of humiliation that comes with this look. She is actually celebrating the anniversary that the acid burn did not end her life. The Holy Scriptures said that in all things, we should give thanks to God and that is exactly this lady is doing.

Maybe you are going through some trial that you think your situation is worse than anyone on earth. If this lady has forgotten all the odd and she is happy, you need to make yourself happy.

Many Ghanaians after coming across this picture advised that men and women who disfigured ladies like this must desist from it. No matter what your partner does to you, using acid on her should be the last thing on your mind.

Check out reactions from some Ghanaians below:

A Facebook user known as Nicholas Baiden said that "This is so sad but I believe God has granted you joy again. To the wicked men and women who engage in this act, better stop. Look at what you have done to someone beautiful and curvy woman. Happy Aniversary dear"

Another Facebook user said that "Thanks be to God".
