A matron with Jamiat Islamic Girls SHS in Wa, Upper West Region Paulina Samba has passed on after a severe ailment. Before her death, she admitted the condition began at her workplace.
According to close relatives, the Matron's Stomach started expanding and within a week time she couldn't breath, medical experts who came to observe her condition stated it was as a result of food poisoning, she was pronounced dead along the week.
The Wife of the Former Upper West Regional Director for Education, Mr. Iddrisu Mahama left behind 2 children and has since been buried as Islamic customs demand.
Several Educational Workers including Matrons have since visited her family house in Mangu, a suburb of Wa to express condolence with the family.
This is the second death report as a man believe to be in his Late 30's was Killed and his lifeless body deposited in front of a radio station. The Man was identified as Kojo Kunta from Dabo in the Wa West District.
