Evang. Diana Asamoah allegedly offends the Ga Traditional Council with her comments about Homowo.

As we all know, the Ga community are making preparations towards their annual festival, Homowo. Well, you will wonder what it has got to do with Diana Asamoah, the gospel singer. Allow me to open up this trending story to you. Evangelist Diana Asamoah had made certain comments, intentionally or not, it is not yet confirmed. This comment somehow related to the fact that Homowo can be stopped if Nana Agradaa allows herself for God to use her for His works.

The in-depth details follows. Evangelist Diana Asamoah recently said, Nana Agradaa, now called Evangelist Patricia Oduro should allow herself for God to use her for evangelism. ‘ If indeed Agradaa has changed, she should pave way in her life for God to use her to the extent that Homowo may not be even celebrated’, Diana Asamoah stated. This, when heard by the Ga Traditional Council was not taken well at all. The chiefs of the Ga Traditional Council reacted as a matter of fact.

The chiefs requested that Diana Asamoah should, in two weeks, turn up to clear up any misunderstanding or any offensive thing she had said. The chiefs added that if Diana Asamoah says this, then she is trying to imply that Homowo is ungodly. So therefore, she should turn up to justify herself to prevent any negative consequences. They made it clear that the land had its laws and we came to meet it so it cannot be called ungodly or anything like that.

This reaction of the Ga Traditional Council has indeed proven offended by the words of the Evangelist, Diana Asamoah. They therefore announced that she should come and apologize and take back whatever she said wrong.
