Stop Insulting Leaders When Preach The Gospel To Unbelievers - Rev Minister

The main mandate of man of God is among others, to transform the society with the precious words of God

And that any pastor who deviates from this responsibility and resorts to insults and attacking leaders cannot call himself as a true representative of God, the Head pastor of the Word of Life Assemblies of God at Sepase in the Atwima Nwabiagya South District of Ashanti region Rev Lawrence Incoom has disclosed.

Speaking to the Opera News Content Writer King Amoah in an interview, the Head pastor said as pastors we have to avoid insults and attacking leaders when preaching to the congregation.

Stressing, it is our mandates to preach the word of God in line with the Bible doctrines and portray Christ to the unbelievers.

Explaining a point, Rev Incoom bemoaned that most of the pastors especially the young have in these days using their pulpits to attack leaders whilst the Scriptures does not gives mandate to abusive preachings.

The clergy also noted that the work of a man of God is to preach about repentance , forgiveness and attest to the kindness and glory of God to the world and encourage the congregation to know that Jesus Christ will be coming again so we should prepare to meet him and not insults.

Rev Lawrence Incoom advised the pastors who allegedly prefer insults and attacking leaders to put an end to it, and bear in mind that the leaders we attacked in our churches when preaching are the same people we welcomed and pampered, if they are from our families.

It is time we should show respect and give honour to those who deserves it, as it has been stated in the Bible, the man of God pointed out.

He also advised our leaders to show good examples and lead an exemplary life to set themselves free from public ridicule.
