The Chairman of the Moslems Executive Foundation (MEF) in Kumasi, Alhaji Musah Abubakari has stressed the need for the Moslem youth and for that matter Ghanaians to use the Ramadan as a period of reformation to enhance the rapid socio economic development of the country.
Speaking to the correspondent in an interview, Alhaji Musah Abubakari who also doubles as the Managing Director of Basfam Company Ltd indicated that Ramadan is a worldwide occasion for the Moslems communities and therefore Moslems youth need to recognise the importance that attached to it.
The religion he underscored was established on a peaceful note therefore, in times like this the youth need to promote peace and unity to realize the aims and objectives in which the religion was founded.
As Moslems , he said it is our mandate to promote peace at all the times and work hard for not our survival alone but also for the growth of the country.
The chairman further advised the youth to avoid antisocial vices and other bad practices that could lead them into trouble.
Chairman Musah reminded the youth to know that it will be waste of time, energy and money to engage in violence attitudes and admitted to hospitals for the government to also spends on you.
Such government expenditure he said could be used for other ventures to support the society, hence the Moslems Executive Foundation's call on the youth to promote peace and stability at all times.
On the occasion Alhaji Musah Abubakari on behalf of MEF extended his warmest greetings and happy Ramadan in advance to the Moslems Communities and seeks Allah's guidance for all Imams and chief Imams for longer life to humanity.
