I Stopped Going To Church Because I Couldn't Afford My Tithe - Kwame Yogot

Dan Yaboo|

The Christian church is not a building, but a body of believers united in Christ. Its role is to worship God, nurture and edify and reach out to a suffering world with the saving message of the gospel as well as the practical compassion and mercy exemplified in Christ.

Worship is God-centered and Christ-centered. It is not about entertaining Christians with flashy displays or presentations, but about expressing our love by worshiping our Creator.

However, Ghanaian rapper Kenneth Kyeremateng and 'Biibi Besi' hit maker, fairly known as Kwame Yogot has flogged out some Churches of their Chaotic behaviour toward poor or less privileged people.

Speaking to Fiifi Pratt on Accra_based Kingdom Plus Fm 101.9 FM, he explained that many churches focused on teaching what he call "prosperity gospel", a gospel where God's people ought to be rich because God is rich, hence poor like he himself are subjected to Deride in some churches.

He further stated that, he will only go to church when he is being paid by his Pastor to do so.

Kwame Yogot has futher conclude that, the church nowadays are full of clump hippocrates whose mandate is to mock poor and less people.
