President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo visited the home of the General Overseer of the Lighthouse Group of Churches, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, to sympathize with him on the death of his oldest child.
The fresh insight about the passing of Dr. David Heward-Mills broke on Great Friday, April 15, 2022, however with little data on precisely what prompted his passing.
In photographs shared by the president on his Facebook page, he said he visited the family to feel for them.
"On Tuesday, 19th April 2022, I visited Bishop Dag Heward-Mills to communicate the feelings and sympathies of my family and me, on the appalling loss of his child.
"I wish the Bishop and his family the strength, solace, and love of God in these troublesome times," the post said.
The president likewise marked a book of sympathy opened in the memory of the late David Heward-Mills.

About the late Dr. David Heward-Mills
