There was massive reaction from Ghanaians on social media over Methodist Church of Ghana Headquarters bold response to an NDC man called Appiah Stadium. The NDC man had recorded a video of their former Bishop of Methodist Emmanuel Asante at a funeral.
The Methodist Church boldly urged the general public to disregard the video because it's sought to discredit the hard earned reputation of their Bishop.
In reacting to the reply from the Methodist Church Headquarters, some Ghanaians feels that the reply was totally unnecessary. This is because, the Bishop had every right to defend himself and not the Church.
Moreover, Appiah Stadium didn't approach the Bishop in relation to Methodist Church of Ghana but rather in the Bishop's capacity as a former Chairman of Ghana's peace Council. Therefore they don't see why the Church should respond.
Appiah Stadium had recorded a video conversation with the Bishop which sought to create the impression that he ( The Bishop) has been quiet under the current New Patriotic Party's administration.
Check out the reply from the Methodist Church of Ghana and some Reactions from some Ghanaians.
