A letter written and signed by the National Chairman of the Church of Pentecost blamed the total reduction of tithes and offertory of the Church on the ongoing Russian and Ukraine war.
According to him, the church is aware of the negative impact of the war including the impact of the deadly corona virus. Notwithstanding, the Chairman encouraged the members to try and donate to the work of God.
The Chairman wrote extensively to the Downtown Ofankor District of Church. He explained that, Headquarters was expecting an amount of near four billion old Ghana cedis from them in offering and tithes only. Unfortunately, they managed to raise near 3 billion which had a shortfall of over one million Ghana cedis.
Well, we hope that the letter meets them in good health.
