They have played a major role in the development of the country Ghana, and other similar facets of the Ghanaian economy. Talk of educational, infrastructural, and other areas, their efforts have been duely recognized. It is of this reason that the government of the day has thought it wise to bless the Islamic community with an untra-modern mosque located around Nima, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, to help facilitate in their activities.
The facility, if not being told can be mistaken for one in Dubai or any other developed country, due to it glorious nature. It was commissioned just yesterday and the likes of many diginitaries including the chief Imam were all present.
It is said to to be the second largest in West Africa, has an office complex for the chief Imam, a clinic with laboratories et al.
