The popular televangelist died Saturday evening after concluding a programme in his church, a close family source revealed.
Prophet TB Joshua was very popular for several decades as a fierce preacher on TV, using his platform to attract a large number of Christians from across the world.
In 2014, his church was under a multi-national investigation after a section of his church headquarters building in Lagos collapsed, killing several worshippers and leaving many more injured.
Prophet TB Joshua denied allegations of negligence leveled against him; and the trial on the incident was still underway prior to his death.
He died at 57. The cause of death is not immediately known.
According to the report, his remains has been deposited in a mortuary while an autopsy is being expected.
May his soul Rest In Peace.
