The christian community in Ghana has grown to become a free world where people from all directions can choose to join. In fact, Christianity is seen as one of the most populated religions in Ghana and the world as a whole. In recent times, some religious leaders in the christian community have been criticized for the way the pay more attention to the monetary aspect of their jobs as preachers. Some people have gone a long way to refer to the actions of such preachers as fake and fraudulent.
Well, some christians even decide to pull out of their churches due to some actions of these pastors. Popular and highly influential rapper, Edem who is the leader of the newly inspired Jesus Gang has come out to make a statement concerning this issue. Edem is regarded as the biggest musician from the Volta Region of Ghana. In some context, Edem is seen as the best Ewe rapper of all time. He recently begun to preach the gospel and has since been of massive importance in the christian community.
Edem recently came out to make a statement concerning how some pastors and other religious leaders make life uncomfortable for some christians. According to Edem, churches and other religious bodies should be opened to everyone. He made this statement to address the fact that, some christians who engage in worldly activities are not welcomed into some churches. You can be a christian and still do whatever you fell like doing- Edem stated as he extended his advice to churches in the country.
