Does Jesus have brothers according to the Bible?

Jesus Christ was first prophesied of by Jeremiah. He was said to be the Messiah or saviour who would bring salvation to mankind.

The mode of His birth came as a mistry and has since generated controversy. Why would a Messiah be born that way?

Born of the Virgin Mary, the Bible never mentioned Mary conceiving and giving birth to children until during and after Jesus' ministry.

In Matthew 13:55 'Isn't he the carpenter's son, isn't Mary his mother, and aren't James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas his brothers? Aren't all his sister's living here?' This clearly indicate that Jesus had not only brothers but sisters as well.

Four names have been given as brothers of Jesus. However, his sisters have not been named but one thing clear is that they must have been two or more.

Mark's account reiterates the fact that Jesus wasn't born alone. Mark 6:3 'Isn't he the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters living here?

Evidently, Jesus had brothers and and sisters who probably were not in full time ministry.
