He has been in the Ministry for a long time and is known all over Ghana for making opinions that are sometimes debatable.
In his recent interview with Halifax Addo on OK FM, Kumchacha made some powerful statement concerning money. "After God, the next powerful thing is money. My brother money is very powerful and can do many things " he said.
Halifax asked him why some Christians dress so fashionably to church and that sometimes it intimidate the poor in the church, causing them to miss church service with the excuse that, they have no church clothes.
Prophet Kumchacha's simple answer was that, people dress well to church is a sign of appreciation to God. The person may not have been able to afford those kinds of clothes before but now they can.
"A true Christian does not gossip about his fellows bad dressing. If you feel like someone is not dressing well to church, you can take it upon yourself to provide some shoes and clothes without anybody noticing it. That is the life of a true Christian."
To support his claims, he quoted the scriptures citing Ecclesiastes 10:19 which says that: "A feast is made for laughter, wine brings merry, but money answers everything". He has therefore advised people to resist from criticising people with money because when you are poor, you say money is the root of all evil.
