The Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Kumchacha, has declared that marriage should be contractual and that legislation should be enacted to ensure that men who rape women or engage in incest are castrated.
Engaging in activities such as incest, in his opinion, stinks of folly.
On Thursday, June 2, Prophet Kumchaha was speaking with host Mona Gucci on the Bribi Gye Gye Wo show on Onua TV as part of a debate on the news that the late Sister Osinachi's husband, Peter Nwachukwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging after being found guilty of murdering his wife.
He suggested that marriage be made "contractual" so that people might leave if they feel threatened.
"If I had the chance, I would beg God to make marriage a legal contract." It should be limited to a five-year term with the possibility of extension. "
"It is stupidity to indulge in incest," he remarked, referring to rape and incest. Having sex with your own child is one of the most compelling reasons to engage in incest. We need a law that says men who sleep with their own children should be castrated. "
