Like everybody, we all eat whatever we see and truth be told, we don't feel bad about it in anyway because at the end of the day what's important to us is that we enjoy what we eat. And even as some people have mistakenly quoted from the Holy Scriptures in 1 Corinthians 6:13, we tend to eat without considering the long term consequences afterall as they put it, "Food for the stomach and the stomach is for food"
But there's a village where about five thousand people live somewhere in the middle of the desert in Israel. Unlike most of us who eat just because we have to eat, these people are much more careful with the food they eat. They practically eat No meat, No Dairy Products, No Artificial Additives and No Chemicals Foods. As though that wasn't enough, they don't eat salt four days a week, No Sugar four weeks a year, they exercise three times within a week, they undergo a mandatory massage each and every month and last but not least they do not smoke cigarettes, neither do they drink any form alcohol. They are, as someone might call them "full time vegetarians". Almost every food they put within their bodies is absolutely made from plant products.
They believe that for them to maintain a healthy, balanced and lengthy lifestyle it highly depends on the food they introduce into their bodies. Sure, they have taste for the same foods we eat crave for on daily basis. But in place of such foods like Chicken, they rather go in for Seitan, (which is a vegan meat alternative made from hydrated gluten, which is the main protein found in wheat); instead of burgers they eat rice patties and instead of Ice Creams they rather go in for Soy Milk. According to scientists, the Village inhabits one of the healthiest people in the world with very few cases of obesity or even heart attacks. The village is full of many elderly people who look younger than their age and vibrant growing beyond 100 years. They believe that with a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle they will live forever. They are the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem, based in Israel, specifically Dimona. They believe they are descendants from the Twelve Tribes of Israel who came from the African Americans, many of whom were from Chicago Illinois, who migrated to Israel in the late 1960s.
They are a very spiritual people who believe in the Holy Bible which says in Genesis 1:29 "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat". What makes them keep a healthy lifestyle is their believe that their body is a "temple" and that it should be clean and healthy. This makes them put in all their best to keep and preserve it very well. This mindset and lifestyle has led them to live an absolutely longer, healthy and stronger life.
