Angry Kumasi youth locks up Lighthouse church over Dag Heward-Mills’ ‘offensive sermon’

The Bantama part of the Lighthouse Chapel International was on Saturday, June 26, 2021, secured by some angry young people of Asanteman in what is dreaded to be the start of response assaults on the congregation after remarks by its originator Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. 


It has been accounted for some adolescent in their handfuls raged the congregation premises and coercively quit for the day church and took steps to pound every one of those present. 


Notwithstanding supplications by chapel specialists, the adolescent neglected to resume the congregation which brought about them not holding faith gathering on Monday. 

Talking on Okay FM, Tweneboa Kodua, the General Secretary of the Ashanti Youth Association (AYA) affirmed the episodes however separated his gathering from it. 


He clarified that the gathering has been locked in on not bringing through their danger of making a move against the congregation. 


"We gave him a final proposal and requested that he look for insightful guidance. The savvy counsel is a cycle and he has been doing it. We can't place everything in the public yet certain course of action should be made before one can visit Otumfuo. Looking for the shrewd is measure that is progressing and we are in converses with them. Asante is a realm so you must be cautious when managing us. 


"We've been in converses with every one of the sub-gatherings so we don't know about this activity. In each circumstance there are exemptions that is the reason I advised the police not to trifle with this matter. I have been educated regarding the occurrence and will before long meet different leaders so we manage it," he said. 


Priest Dag Heward-Mills brought about the fierceness of the adolescent after purportedly offering a few remarks which in the shrewdness of youth is a denigration of Otumfuo and Asanteman. 


He in this way offered a conciliatory sentiment, clarifying that the remarks were exactly twenty years prior.
