In This Prosperous Church, Led By These Identical Twins, One Preaches and the Other Sings. PICS

Rev. Steve Mensah is a well respected man of God, husband, father, church planter, evangelist and televangelist. Aside been the General Overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) in Accra, Ghana, he is also a spiritual father to several top pastors in Ghana and in the sub region, as many believe that, he is one of the great leaders the Lord has raised and is using greatly to affect lives not only in Ghana but round the world.

The church he planed many years ago, today has seen many new branches planted, pastors raised and many people have been planted in the Lord through this ministry. Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) also boats of the renowned "Rehoboth Temple" alongside a growing complex of huge structures all at its headquartered North Legon huge acreage of land, just about 5 minutes drive from the Atomic Junction on the main Madina-Legon road.

CEM'S vision is evangelism in general and rural evangelism in particular, as the church has a vision to see the church become a place for spiritual growth and Christian maturity, empowerment for effective Christian living through the word of God, reaching out to others and transforming lives.

The church is renowned for its rural crusades which is informed by the church's intent to reach out to all manner of people especially the rural worlds through “Jesus to the Rurals” crusades and by the grace of God, have been accompanied with great miracles, signs and wonders, social action and to raise passionate people who will preach the Gospel to every unsaved soul throughout the world.

The church's website describes him as "this humble servant of God is loved by many of his colleagues and Pastors and the Christian community in general for his simplicity, peace loving nature and openness to all persons. He is one man of God who is very approachable so much so that people of all ages can come to him irrespective of the social status or standing. He is very compassionate, kind, loving with a large heart for the poor and needy in society. His passion is to see the Gospel reaching the unsaved and neglected folks especially in the rural areas of our nation and beyond. And so, year after year, he spearheads the Christ to the Rural World Ministry in bringing "Jesus to the Rurals". This Ministry outreaches the rural world with free medical help, free drugs, food, clothing, Bibles and books distribution among many other things. His greatest desire is to see the poor person saved and empowered to be able to change his/her situation and environment."

He also loves to see the youth empowered to make a difference in their time and generation. This passion is reflected in most of the sermons he preaches on Sunday and on other occasions. He has authored many powerful books, which include Bone of My Bones, Life Changing Decisions, Reclaiming your Inheritance, 7 Things the Anointing Will Do for You, Go to Sleep after You Have Sown a Good Seed and many more.

He teaches the word of God with passion, simplicity and understanding in the Church he pastors on Sundays, and on Sweet Melodies FM and is a great conference speaker on Evangelism, Prayer, the Word and many more. His Apostolic Ministry has taken him to continents and nations round the world to bless and strengthen the body of Christ. He is married to Rev. Mrs. Jane Mensah. They have four children and one adopted son.

Interestingly, he is ably assisted by an identical twin brother Rev. Stanley Mensah, who directly leads the praise and worship team, as he is a gifted musician with a soothing voice and anointing to lad songs. They both are preferred conference speakers and also ministers in several other churches, sharing the word of God with many. Their wives also serve actively in the church, together with their children.
