The Presbyterian Moderator, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante, seems to have loved the media attention he got when he made that infamous "witches and wizards" comments. Recently, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante has been captured on a video telling his congregants that persons asking the government to fix the country should rather fix their mouths.
Reacting to the "fix your mouths" comment by the Presbyterian Moderator, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante, the outspoken host of 'THE GUMBE SHOW' on tv XYZ, Mugabe Maase, has called on Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante to put his Holy Bible aside and join him in politics because it seems that politics is his calling.
According to Mugabe Maase, the first thing that needs fixing is the mouth of the Presbyterian Moderator, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante.
Mugabe Maase indicated that if Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante is the presbyterian moderator, it doesn't make him wiser than all Ghanaians in the country.
"If the Presbyterian Moderator, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante wants to put away the Bible and venture into politics, he should do that and stop the 'nonsense' he is has been doing."
He stated that as a presbyterian moderator, he must win souls for God, and also preach the salvation of God to the people who have lost their ways, but not to meddle in political rhetorics.
"The Presbyterian Moderator should do the work of the Lord and stop that useless politics he is doing in our churches because we don't need it."
Mugabe Maase added that the Presbyterian Church of Ghana doesn't need any "useless" politics from Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y Mante. He should concentrate on the Words of God and leave politics alone.
He said that it is about time we tell these so-called men of God the truth in their faces that they are not making any sense with their utterances.
