From addiction to cigarette to minister of God; the story of Irene Logan

Do you remember Irene Logan? It being a long time we heard from her. In 2006, she was part of Stars of the future, a talent show which helps young people exhibit their talent. After the show , she released a couple of songs, which includes "Ran Away", which became a hit song and top most of Ghana's music chats.

Since then, she has been off the musical scene and out of music. During an interview today on Joy Fm, Irene shared her life story about how she has struggled through addiction and depression. She spoke about her addiction to cigarette which became progressive uncontrollable through the years. Sharing her story , she said she moved from smoking a stick of cigarette a day to smoking boxes of cigarette a day. She also battled with chronic depression to the extent she even prayed to God to take her life. Throughout all these years, she was struggling with living her true self. She realized she had the call of God upon her life, but she was struggling with accepting and surrendering totally to it. She turned to God in prayer, until one day a man of God anointed her at church and established her in her calling which is to minister the Gospel of God through singing. She is now fully devoted to her calling which is to minister the word of God through singing. She has her first gospel single song titled MORE.She asked the general public to support her by downloading her song and praying for her. She also thanked everyone who supported her throughout her transformation journey.
