Ghana Charismatic Bishops' Conference, DEFIES Kennedy Agyapong. DETAILS

The body of Christ may be going through its own phase of challenges, as Kennedy Agyapong's Net2 TV, continues its onslaught of several men of God, who have engaged in what their own bible calls "sins" and are yet, preaching against sin from their various pulpits.

Kennedy Agyapong's "The Seat Show," has unveiled the pious nature of many men of God, as rather charlatans, corrupt and even sometimes, morally bankrupt people, who needs to sit up. But pictures seen from a Facebook post online indicates that, the association of these charismatic church leaders, rather boldly celebrates these alleged men of God, with defaults and those, who are yet to have any of such controversies altogether.

But first, let us get to know, what the renowned "Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference" is all about and what its website says+, best summarizes it all, so lets read please.

It reads that:

"The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is made up of senior clergy. These are not men of straw but are mature men and women of integrity and ministry who are well seasoned in the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is made up of senior clergy in different denominations that are drawn from all over the world.

The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is an organization that can make known the views and opinions of the church to the nation and to the public. The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is a powerful body made up of Bishops of several different charismatic denominations in Ghana. Today, its membership is made of over 100 bishops located in every region of Ghana.

A Bishop is a most senior and revered person among the clergy and is an overseer of several churches. Consequently, 4000 churches yield to the authority of this powerful conference. The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference has a widespread influence in Ghana and holds sway over no less than 1 million Ghanaian Christians.

The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference founded some years ago by Dag Heward-Mills, intercedes and prays constantly for the nation Ghana and also speaks prophetically into national matters.
The current chairman of this conference is Bishop Kwame Yirenkyi Ampofo. The offices of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference are located in Teshie, a suburb of Accra. The General Secretary of this august conference is Rev. Kwasi Deh."

The Wall Design, with some men, tagged as allegedly "fake," but celebrated at the Office of Ghana Charismatic Bishop's office boldly

One would easily recall that, Obinim’s ex-junior pastor, Michael Adu also known as Demon Breaker, had opened up about the popular pastor’s bad deeds, as Demon Breaker recounted, how Obinim extorts monies from his members using fake miracles.

He also disclosed some names of Ghanaian pastors and a fetish priestess who are fake and use lesser gods in their ministries, mentioning popular names such as Rev. Obofour, Pastor Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom Prophet One (Opambour), Agya Dan, Pastor Kojo Sarpong, Christopher Kwabena Asante a.k.a Abruku Abruka and many more.

But interestingly, the likes of Bishop Obinim, and several others are well lined up, on the walls of the Ghana Charismatic Bishop's Conference head office at Teshie, as they are honoured and celebrated by the august and renowned association, clearly in defiance of the revelations of Kennedy Agyapong.

The Conference, also celebrates other men of God also, in all denominations in Ghana, most of them are well known, whiles a few may have passed on and others are yet to become a household name, to the ordinary Ghanaian.

With emphasis on the most bashed one by Kennedy Agyapong, one will remember several issues too, that, loudmouth Kennedy Agyapong, had with him, as he has taken his 'war' against controversial pastor Prophet Daniel Obinim to another level, when he said that, the leader of the International God's Way Church is an occultist.

Fast forward, Agyepong, also attacked Nigel Gaise, Badu Kobi, Agya Dan, and others, classifying them as fake men of God.

Most recently as at May 2021, the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference had dedicated its ultra-modern offices in Teshie, at No. 1 Lekma Road, Tema Beach Road.

The building, named “The Makarios Tower” was officially opened on Thursday, May 13, 2021, by the Founder and Chairman of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference, Bishop Dag Heward Mills and was assisted by leading ministers of the Christian Church in Ghana. The 4-storey building has offices, executive conference facilities, two chapels and a bookshop with a multimedia gallery.

The event was graced by many known members of the clergy in the country. They included the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. Paul Kwabena Boafo, Rt. Rev. Dr. Nana Anyani-Boadum of the Jesus Generation Church, Archbishop (elect) Salifu Amoako of the Alive Chapel International, Rev. Ampiah-Kwofie, Apostle-General Sam Korankye-Ankrah.

Others were, Rev. Steve Mensah of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Bishop Gordon Kisseih, Bishop S. N. Mensah, and Bishop Tackie-Yarboi. Prophet Louis Macaiah, Prophet Alex Owusu, Rev. Hislord Amaah, Rev. Torkonoo, Rev. Andrew Pappoe and Rev. Dr. Jonathan Ekuban, all members of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference were actively in attendance.

In his remarks, the Founder and Chairman of the Ghana Charismatic Bishops Conference stated:

“That the Church of God will be built, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16.18). This building is to further God’s work in Ghana. I believe in the church being united and being together, and for that we need to remember that we all come from one source as Christians in Ghana, through our fathers the Presbyterians and the Catholics who brought Christianity to Ghanaian shores. Together, the Orthodox, Pentecostals, Charismatics, and the prophets have a role to contribute to the growth of the church, and its contribution to Ghana’s advancement”

The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church, who cut the ribbon for the Makarios Towers’ opening said:

“I am very delighted to be here among all of us. I want to say one thing, that we all as leaders should encourage our members to ensure they participate in the upcoming census in the country. It is important that we all make sure we get counted.”

The Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference is a body of eminent clergy – bishops, prophets, reverend ministers, denominations of churches and individual churches. Indeed, the GCBC represents millions of Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora.

As a body of the clergy, the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference sees the needs of ordinary people across the nation and feels that it is their duty to present their observations to the Government. These needs are those of ordinary people living in Ghana under the conditions created by successive governments.

They believe that by heeding the prophetic words from the Conference, Ghana will become a leading nation of the world, and achieve its potential of being a star of Africa and the world. It has issued different communique over the past few years. “History will bear record that, our proposals and prophetic words and concerns have come to pass exactly as we said.”
