There was tears all over the faces of some National Executives for the New Patriotic Party at their National Headquarters. Majority of them took to social media to express their sorrow when they remembered Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie who was popularly known as Sir John.
Today 22nd March is the birthday of Sir John. If he was to be alive, he would have clocked 70 years today. This is what one National executive had to say in tears:
"Happy 70th birthday today Wofa Sir John. Your demise has created a lot of vaccum in my life. I wish you are here but we can't question God. I miss you dearly. Rest on". Deputy National Communication officer of the NPP Jennifer Oforiwaah Queen mourned. She also shared some photos of herself and the late Sir John.
" We can't forget you. I'm in pain and tears. As usual, we would have celebrated with you today. Notwithstanding, we know that you're celebrating in Heaven. Happy heavenly birthday to you Sir John. I can't stop crying " NPP's Kofi Agyemang Baffour who is part of the Headquarters security detail also mourned.
