It seems the founder and general overseer of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Bishop Dag Heward Mills is facing a lot of hard times of late. Latest among them is a serious social media backlash against him after a message from him began circulating on social media and which suggests an attack on traditional rulers, particularly against the Ashanti Monarch, Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
Several Ghanaians have reacted to the massage by attacking the use of certain words to describe the Asantehene by the renowned clergyman. A lot of people, especially Ashantis have retaliated by using certain abusive language against the founder of the Lighthouse Church.
The Bishop was however quick to write an apology to the revered King of the Ashanti Kingdom. But people have still detected some inconsistencies in the apology letter from the Bishop, and which they describe as nothing but lies. Among the errors include a claim by the Bishop that the said message was preached more than twenty years ago, but it has been found by some Ghanaians that there are some portions of the message that actually happened less than five years ago and therefore the twenty years claim by the Bishop cannot be true.

The following are some of the reactions from Ghanaians on social media.
