It is right to criticize others but this must be done constructively. Kwame Asare Obeng who is popularly known as Kwame A-Plus has for the past weeks been that venomous to everything the Chairman of the National Board of Trustees for the National Cathedral project, Apostle Professor Kwadwo Nimfour Opoku Onyinah says on the media.
It might sound funny but some of his comments are extreme and distasteful. The comparison Kwame A-Plus has drawn about the logical reasoning or competence between Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyina, with reference to their looks is so unprofessional. In so far as he thinks the two have the same hair style does not mean Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah should be like the late President.
The Apostle for his role in mobilizing resources for the $100 million National Cathedral has come under intense criticism from Kwame A-Plus ever since he appealed to Ghanaians to support the initiative.
In a recent statement made by Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah that churches in Ghana will be expected to undertake a week fasting and prayers together with offerings to support the National Cathedral project, A-Plus scored that such a call is unthinkably wasteful.
He noted on Facebook that he’d trust that that the Apostle for sharing the same haircut with President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah should have exhausted his thought on how factories, schools, hospitals and other developmental projects can be provided for the people of the country other than embark on a fundraising for a place of worship.
In all fairness and respect, Kwame A-Plus shouldn’t attack the personality of Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah for what he believes is right. His intolerance for the views and work of committee on the project is appalling and he must be reminded about it.
Being loud on every issue doesn’t make you right in any argument. After all, the donations sought from the public is voluntarily and not by compulsion to warrant that Kwame A-Plus goes about insulting respected people in Ghana over his disagreement with the call
