The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, TB Joshua has died at 57.He died in Lagos on Saturday evening soon after closing a program at his church. The family has since confirmed his departure and many Nigerians are shook by the sad news.
The cause of his sudden demise has not yet been identified but the family says his remains has been deposited at the morgue and an autopsy would be performed soon to ascertain the cause of death.
Pastor Joshua has been a renowned preacher in Nigeria for decades using avenues such as television and other media platforms to preach the gospel. In 2014, his church was investigated after a section of the church headquarters in Lagos collapsed resulting in several deaths and injuries. He denied allegations of negligence after that tragic event.
His church is a multinational church that has branches in several parts of the world and he usually holds crusades of healing all over the globe.
