Economic Transformation ls Guaranteed If Ghanaians Get Closer To God -Bishop Oppong.

Founder and leader of the Lord's Fire Works Chapel International sited at Kumasi Airport in the Ashanti Region, Bishop Dr Nana James Akwasi Oppong ( aka Jakwapo);has indicated that the economic challenges confronting the country be solved, if Ghanaianscould avoid antisocial vices and and come closer to God-.

The clergy noted that Ghanaians, and for that matter leaders of the country must place God as the priority in every decision they may take in the issues that boarder on national development.

Bishop Dr James Akwasi Oppong who also doubles as the President of Jakwapo Group of Companies made the assertion on September 3, 2021 to round off the church's 10 the anniversary ceremony which had the theme,"Thy Kingdom Come" quoted from the book of Matthew Chapter 6 verses number 10.

Bishop Oppong was not happy that since the independent of the country in 1957, Ghanaians have experienced underdevelopment of its economy, as a result of bad governance .

He posited that greed, lukewarm attitudes and corrupt behavior in the public sector are holding back the development of the country.

The man of God linked the aforementioned attributes as the major obstacles that rob the destiny of the country and in effect impact negatively on the citizenry.

Citing particularly instances about how some political leaders allegedly use wicked and dubious means to grab both civilian and political power in the country, the Bishop underscored that some people go to the extent of performing secret human and animals rituals, a move he described it as shameful, abominable and condemnatory as the Holy Scripture speaks about it.

Bishop Oppong who is also, Chief Executive Officer of a Kumasi-based privately owned radio station, Solid 103.7 fm noted that such alleged antisocial vices are still going on in the country, whilst the men of God who are duty bound to speak against it continue to keep quiet as if they are dumbs or blinds for the reasons best known to them.

Bishop Dr James Akwasi Oppong bemoaned that the country is though endowed with rich natural resources that could be well managed and utilize for economic development, out of wickedness and mismanagement, the destiny of the country continue to diminish.

He therefore calls for renewed spirit among the leaders and the fear of God to deliver sound and good economic policies to lift the people out from hardships.
