National Chief Imam’s spokesperson, Sheikh Aremeyaw has said that, the claims of religious tolerance in Ghana is merely a Facade. According to the National Chief Iman, there is a certain solidarity in the christian community in Ghana against the demonstration in the country and for him for that matter is very dangeruous.
Sheikh Aremeyaw also added that, he is convinced that we have not been honest with ourselves as Ghanaians in the claims that are really happening.
"What worry me so much is the latest join press released by the two Christians churches. These are the two big Christian church and for them to have just given their endorsement. Mentally there is a certain solidarity in the Christian community against the demonstration in Ghana and for me, that is very dangerous. I think it has been just a facade. In my view; i have become convinced that we have not been honest with ourselves with the claims that we are really going on", Sheikh Aremeyaw stated.
