They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” (Exodus 14:11‭-‬12 NIV)

These are sometimes the way followers or people you are given the opportunity to lead may react to you as you lead them. They will say all manner of words when things become difficult along life's path. (The People wanted to return and God had also asked Moses to tell the people to go ahead)

Then, Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

(Exodus 14:13 NIV)

If you find yourself in a position like this as a leaders in any way possible in life, you will surely be disturbed. Because you would be hearing so many voices speaking to you. Some of which may seem discouraging. But this is where leadership must take bold and decisive decision. Indeed, some decisions from the leader may not necessarily be accepted by all, but if the directive comes from God, the leader has no option than to see the implementation of this. This is what makes the difference among leaders and largely brings results when no one sees it coming. Be encouraged that in all circumstances or situation, you would still stay relevant and positive to achieve your God given reward.
