From Son to Deputy Chief Imam: National Chief Imam hit so hard by death

Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu is a Ghanaian Islamic cleric who currently serves as the Chief Imam of Ghana , as well as a member of the National Peace Council.

Current national Chief Imam was first appointed as the Deputy Regional Chief Imam in 1974 after a lengthy discussions among tribal chiefs, academics, Islamic scholars, and religious personalities.

Recently death has hit the National Chief Imam, Nuhu Sharubutu really hard. From his son, Abubakar Sharubutu, to the Deputy National Chief Imam, Sheikh Ahmad Kamaludeen.

According to reports, the son of the National Chief Imam, Abubakar died on Monday, July 12, and on the Friday, July 16, Deputy National Chief Imam was also reported dead, the cause of their death has not been made public.

National Chief Imam lost both his son and his Deputy in just one week. Our condolences to him and his family. May he live long to continue to help Ghana with words if wisdom.
