The Member of Parliament for Assin Central on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon Kennedy Agyapong has been captured among the congregation of Perez Chapel International. Bishop Charles Agyin Asare, the Founder and General Overseer of Perez Chapel International was sitting right in front of him.
Speaking to the congregation, Hon Kennedy Agyapong made a statement that when he was listening to Bishop Agyin Asare, he overhead him telling a woman to come to church on Tuesday morning, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. But he doesn’t support that idea because the time that he mentioned are productive working hours that members have to work and bring money to him.
In view of this, he is suggesting that he shift the time for the commencement of the service to 6:00 pm so that they can all go and work and bring money to the altar of God.
This is what Hon Kennedy Agyapong said “I have a problem with Bishop Charles Agyin Asare. I overheard him telling a woman to come on Tuesday between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am. I don’t agree with him because these hours are productive working hours that we have to make money and bring it to you. You have to change that time”.
Most of the members were captured clapping for him after he made this statement. Bishop Agyin Asare himself was also laughing. Hon Kennedy Agyapong further advised the ladies in the congregation that before they go to church early in the morning, they should make sure that their husbands food are prepared first before they go.
Some Ghanaians after coming across this video said that Hon Kennedy Agyapong is the most bravest MP they have ever come across. They argued that most of our MPs cannot say these things right in front of prominent men of God.
