Professor Gyampo Finally Picks The Bible To Preach

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says we should give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus.

Seasonal Greetings to you all once again. It’s been a tough year but the fact that God has kept us among the living makes it our best year. Regardless of whatever happened this year, our Bible says in all things, we must give thanks to God.

My message for the week is this simple. Let us give thanks to God for the year. We may not have the eyes and understanding to see what God may have done for us in the year.

But I am led to tell you all that, it’s been one of our best years regardless of what we saw in it as challenges. You lost your job? You contracted COVID? You were forced to social distance?

You are forced to wear nose mask? You can only gather socially with caution? Regardless let’s give thanks.

What I am sure may make God wonder about our height of ingratitude is those of us who are hale and hearty and have gone through the year unblemished and yet we continue to describe the year as bad just because others suffered.

If those who suffered job losses are still giving thanks, how can those who kept their jobs mourn more than the bereaved?

If you didn’t die; if you never lost your job; If you never contracted COVID; if you discovered new opportunities and new healthy ways of living;

If you got the opportunity to now relate closely with your family; and if through COVID matters, suddenly you discovered that only God is omnipotent and retraced your steps to Him, then stop describing the year as bad and give thanks

Let us begin to thank the Lord from now till it’s all over. With this attitude of thankfulness, we will position ourselves for what brings us joy, happiness, peace, good health, protection, long life and prosperity in the coming year and far beyond.

God bless us all
