[Video] You Were A Government Teacher Before Becoming A King – Asantehene Replies Dormaahene

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has sent a simple message to certain rulers who are trying to impose themselves on others. In a new video the Asantehene sent a clear message to rulers in the Bono East and Ahafo regions and charged them to humble themselves. For a time now the Dormaahene, Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II has been vocal and challeneged kings and politicians to do better to develop their domain.

Apparently, the Asantehene has heard some of those comments and responded. His reply mostly came in response to some comments that the Dormaa state was not under any other kingdom and that they were a free nation. Otumfuo cautioned all those trying to challenge him. He mentioned that he can’t force anyone but again no one should dare him.

“The fact that there are new regions doesn’t mean you are free. You still serve the Golden Stool. Agyemang Badu before he became Dormaahene was a teacher at Government Boys School. You still serve the Sika Dwa. No one can change history. This will not happen during my time. What is this pride and talking that is going on? I am a man and I can also speak rudely.” the Asantehene said.

The Asantehene noted that all the chiefs who are being molested by others will soon hear his verdict. He explained that those regions are still under him and nothing will change that. He added that he will soon reconstruct the Asante Standing Committee and receive a representative from the states (Bono East and Ahafo) under him. He pledged his commitment to ensure peace. He noted that he will not go about insulting people but will maturely respond to.

The Asantehene promised to elevate many chiefs of small towns in Bono East. He sent a silent warning to those in Bono who are daring him and insisted that they should humble themselves because power doesn’t belong to them.
