The purpose of Easter according to Christianity doctrine is to remember the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But Jesus Christ when he was about to ascend to Heaven charged his disciples to win souls for His Kingdom (Mathew 28:18 -19).
The Founder of Perez Chapel International, Founder of Precious TV and Chancellor of Perez University College, Bishop Charles Agyinasare was captured on the street doing one on one evangelism of winning souls for Christ. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it difficult for many Churches to mount big platforms in spreading the gospel but alternatively, there are various means of reaching out to the lost souls.
Looking at the picture above, Bishop Charles Agyinasare was in his jeans and Lacoste shirt standing by a street. With him is probably some hard working Church members who want to win souls for Christ. The renounced Man of God was holding flyers as his members were holding placards. Some of the inscriptions on the placards are, 'Imagine eternity in hell' and 'Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
Most Ghanaians after seeing this picture were wowed by the humble nature of the Man of God. With where God have taken his Ministry to, some thought that, Bishop Charles Agyinasare will leave this street evangelism to his branch pastors, evangelism leaders of his church or the members. But seeing he himself on the street inspire them as they shower more blessings on him and his Ministry.
Bishop Charles Agyinasare used his official Facebook account and post this message, "Precious one, Happy Easter! God sent His Son, Jesus to die for you and me. As we commemorate His death and resurrection, join us tomorrow at 7 am for our community evangelism as we reach out to the lost this Easter. See you tomorrow. God bless you".
It is hardly you see high profiled men of God on the street doing street evangelism but Bishop Charles Agyinasare has shown that, Church Ministry is not about sitting at your comfortable zone but reaching to the lost souls through all means available.
