Churches attended by Ghana's Fourth republic Presidents

Since independence, all the heads of state in Ghana seems to be Christians. Each president of Ghana is having a church they attend most often to worship God and have other religious meetings. In today's article, let us look at the churches attended by all the Presidents of the fourth republic of Ghana.

#1. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo

He is Ghana's incumbent President. He was raised a Presbyterian by his father who was also the president of Ghana. However, Akuffo Addo is now an Anglican

#2. John Dramani Mahama

John Mahama had been the president of Ghana for close to 6 years. He is the immediate past President of Ghana. He is a member of the Assemblies of God. He was however raised a Presbyterian.

#3. John Atta Mills

Atta Mills is a proud member of the Methodist church of Ghana. He happens to be the least serving President in the fourth republic since he sadly died in Office.

#4. John Agyekum Kuffour

He was in office from 2001 to 2008. He happens to be a Roman Catholic. 

#5. John Jerry Rawlings

Rawlings is the first President of the fourth republic. He was also a Roman Catholic.
