"Let Us Find Money To Complete The National Cathedral To Avoid Shame" - Catholic Bishop Pleads.

The issue of the National Cathedral still stands as government is expected to abandon or halt processes for the project for now because things are getting worst with the economy. The current state of the economy has forced the government to seek the services of the IMF for a loan to help rescue the economy following the failure of the electronic levy.

Huge sums of money have been accrued through church and other donations to the establishment of the National Cathedral and more of these donations are still coming in. It is expected of government to used the mobilized funds intended for the use of the cathedral to help sustain the economy but no move has been done. More funds are even needed to reach the estimated amount for the project.

Reporting from News Daily via their official twitter handle is a statement from a catholic Bishop on the national cathedral whose name was not made available. He stated that "Let us find money to complete the National Cathedral to avoid shame". In this time of the economy, is it a priority to complete a cathedral? He claimed that the project has already started thence we can’t leave it the wasn’t half way and if we do that, people will laugh at us saying this is the buildings Ghanaians agreed on and they could not finish it up.

Ghanaians as at now are still against the establishment of the National Cathedral and were even against the electronic imposed to bring development to them for they claim it was cruel what of a National Cathedral?

Find below some of the reactions i gathered from some concerned citizens over the pleads of the Bishop:
